External Doors

The external range incorporates 68mm thick door leaves, which are suitable for 28mm thick double glazing units. Toughened safety glass is fitted at the factory as standard, with a low “E” coating to the inner pane, complying with the latest British Standards. Other glazing options are available, including laminated and tinted glass and argon gas filled units. Integral Venetian blinds can also be specified, which are incorporated within the double glazed unit.

Security is always an important factor with external doors and the Arbor design incorporates multi point locking to the pass door and key lockable flush bolts. All glazing is internally beaded, further increasing the resistance of each door to forced entry.

Timber options include European Oak and a selection of durable hardwoods. Doors and frame are normally supplied fully factory finished in microporous stain or paint, and Oak systems can be treated with an oiled finish. If requested, door sets can also be supplied untreated for on site application of your chosen finish.

Internal Doors Arbor Internal sliding and folding doorsets incorporate single glazing as standard. Door panels are 44mm thick, and incorporate seals for effective draught proofing and acoustic attenuation. Opening and stacking options are the same as for the external range which together with matching timber profiles ensure a consistent look across all of our product ranges. The bottom guide channel can be supplied as an integrated part of the timber threshold or, if a completely flush floor finish is required between rooms, then the channel can be supplied loose for site installation by others as part of your flooring finish.
More timber options are available for the internal systems compared to the external systems and a wide range of suitable hardwoods and softwoods can be specified. Doors are normally factory finished, although primed/sealed only options are available if finishes need to be site applied.
